Position: Data Integrity Assistant

Overview:
Maintain the Metropolitan Public Defender database for assigned cases under current contracts with the State of Oregon. The database provides billing information from codes that identify the level(s) of cases as well as client information used primarily for conflict checks. This is a non-exempt level position, represented by the bargaining unit.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain electronic records which includes case acquisitions, update and closing.

  • Maintain a high level of accuracy in case profiles that account for the proper billing and subsequent reopening of previous case work.

  • Professionalism - work closely with court personnel representing MPD.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Must be proficient in MS word, Excel, and database software.

  • Must be able to type at least 50 words per minute.

  • Some analytical ability is required in order to gather and summarize data, find solutions to various administrative problems, and prioritize work.

  • Work requires continual attention to detail, establishing priorities, and meeting deadlines.

Education and/or Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED.
